Panthers aren’t just setting the bar in social studies but soaring past it! During the 2025/26 school year, Wenatchee High School students achieved a 96.4% pass rate on the AP Human Geography exam. That’s more than 20 percentage points past the Washington state pass rate of 71.3% and the global pass rate of 67%.

What is AP Human Geography?
In AP HUG, students learn about population trends and diverse cultural landscapes around the world. From cities to rural areas, students examine the diverse interactions that people have with the environment. Students learn to understand information shown in maps, tables, charts, etc. and to deduce patterns from trends in geographical data.
