Mariachi Huenachi
AUDITION REQUIRED. Advanced Mariachi Course at WHS. 

This class prepares students for the performance of traditional Mexican mariachi music. Students should be proficient at one of the mariachi instruments (violin, trumpet, guitar, vihuela, guitarron, and voice) and know how to read music. This class requires a large commitment of time because of the extensive performance schedule. Students will perform in the community, throughout the northwest region, and nation.

Mariachi Azteca
AUDITION REQUIRED. Intermediate mariachi course at WHS.

This class prepares students for the performance of traditional Mexican mariachi music. Students should be proficient at one of the mariachi instruments (violin, trumpet, guitar, vihuela, guitarron, and voice) and know how to read music. Participation is required for some evening and weekend performances. Students are expected to participate in all designated activities. This class serves as a training group for Mariachi Huenachi.

Mariachi Cielo Azul
AUDITION REQUIRED – One year of middle school mariachi preferred. Beginner mariachi course at WHS. 

This class prepares students for the performance of traditional Mexican mariachi music. Students should be proficient at one of the mariachi instruments (violin, trumpet, guitar, vihuela, guitarron, and voice) and know how to read music. Participation is required for some evening and weekend performances. Students are expected to participate in all designated activities. This class serves as a training group for Mariachi Azteca & Mariachi Huenachi.
