Golden Apple Band
The classic marching band experience right here at Wenatchee High School. Develop musical skills, teamwork, and discipline while performing in parades, field shows, and other events.

Jazz Ensemble
Students explore the world of jazz music through performance, improvisation, and the study of jazz styles and history.

Percussion Ensemble 
Performance-based music class for percussionists (drummers). The students will learn to perform standard Western percussion ensemble literature as well as appropriate music from other cultures (South America, Africa, Indonesia, etc.). The emphasis will be on the development and expansion of the current percussion technique as well as the techniques necessary to perform at a high level within the ensemble.

Wind Ensemble
Students will prepare and perform advanced concert band literature in various styles. The emphasis will be on advanced pedagogical techniques and music theory. The ensemble will perform at various local concerts, competitions, and festivals outside the district. Students are expected to participate in all designated activities.

Golden Apple Indoor Percussion
THIS GROUP IS AN EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY. 
Golden Apple Indoor Percussion is a competitive percussion group that practices and attends competitions during the winter months. Indoor percussion brings the intensity of marching band indoors with synchronized choreography, intricate musical arrangements, and physically demanding performances. Students carry or play instruments ranging from snare drums to marimbas while executing complex visual formations.
