Air Force JROTC

Learn about applied flight sciences, military aerospace policies, and Air Force heritage and traditions through leadership, competition, and other opportunities related to aerospace education

Engineering & Architectural Design

Engage in hands-on design projects for real-world experience and problem-solving skills. The program covers subjects like ski design, engineering, marketing, and customer service.

Energy Production, Storage & Management

Learn how energy systems work, explore environmental impacts, and gain hands-on experience with tools and technologies used in the energy industry.

Forest Health, Management & Production

Learn about forest ecology, tree identification, forest measurement, pest and disease control, fire prevention, and the use of forestry tools and technology.

Production Art

Explore the fundamentals of drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, and animation by creating 3-dimensional, 2-dimensional, and digital works of art.

STEM & Production Art Program of Study

The WHS STEM & Production Art program covers a broad range of subjects and is a good fit for students who value teamwork, environmental stewardship, design, or production. Courses such as Ski Design or Adaptive Play (pictured right) allow students to express themselves creatively while learning the essentials of engineering, design, and safety.

Student Organization: Air Force JROTC

Integrity First, Service Before Self and Excellence In All We Do AFJROTC provides citizenship training and an Aerospace Science program for high school students. WHS cadets participate in competitions and events nationwide throughout the year!
