Building Our Future: WHS Pre-Bond Visit on Tuesday, October 13

Wenatchee High School will host a special Pre-Bond Visit next Tuesday, October 13 from 5:00-6:30pm, ahead of the November 3 bond vote.
This event is an opportunity for the public to tour the Wenatchee High School campus, explore plans for modern 21st-century learning spaces, and see firsthand how the proposed $275 million bond measure will directly shape the next generation of learners.
What the Wenatchee School Bond Means for Your Family
If voters approve the $275 million measure on November 3, the modernized Wenatchee High School is projected for completion around 2030. This timeline means that children currently in elementary and middle school will be among the first to walk through the doors of a new WHS. In fact, today’s 5th graders would be the first class to attend all four years in a brand-new facility built for modern learning.
The proposed bond would also deliver immediate health and safety protections through HVAC replacements at Lewis & Clark, Newbery, Mission View, and Sunnyslope elementaries as well as Foothills, Orchard, and Pioneer middle schools. New HVAC systems will ensure students experience increased air filtration during wildfire smoke events and maintain comfortable, consistent classroom temperatures throughout their middle & high school years.
